Ironically, many digital marketers and entrepreneurs still have a few misconceptions with regards to strategies that will help them rank on top of Google. We have come up with a list of 5 myths that are still floating baselessly and pointlessly in the SEO mania. So if you are using one of them, time for the reality check;

Great Content is the Key, Don’t Worry about SEO

Is it like a big “WHAT!!!” from your side? If yes! Then, thankfully, you are on the one following it. Undoubtedly, the Content is King. SEO is, nowadays, entirely based upon the quality content but it doesn’t mean that content is equivalent to SEO. There is no such thing like if you write and publish the great quality content leave it on the mercy of Search Engines without even getting it optimized from you side. Whatever appears on the top searches of Google is sure to have an amazing content but here is more to it as well. Precisely, you can’t ignore the SEO if you want organic traffic to appear at your site.

Using Exact Match Keywords in the Content

Either sensibly or insensibly, if you place the exact match keywords in the content, this is not going to work in 2017. But since the Google become more sophisticated due to RankBrainAlgorithm and LSI Graphs, the search has become much easier. Now, Google focuses more towards the relevance and context of search queries that’s associated with better user experience. Frankly, this is quite a relief for the content developer as they don’t have to stuff senseless keywords into the content endlessly so they these could be noticed by the Google Crawlers and get Indexed.

Meta Description is Really Important

Really? I don’t think so. That little snippet beneath URL in the SERPs is known as Meta Description. Since Google has got quite smarter, it doesn’t need to you necessarily write the Meta description. Just try experimenting it once. Write the Meta title only and just publish your page without Meta description. Once crawled, Google will automatically fetch the first line of you page content and show it as the Meta description.

That’s fine if you want to add the Meta description. But if not, then make sure you add your primary keywords in the first line of the Content. You will get better understanding of this once you use the WordPress SEO Plugin like All-In-One SEO and SEO Yoast etc.

Summing up, keeping up with the update trends and strategies is really important if you are the reputable SEO CompanyUAE. There are credible online resources like SEOMoz, Google Official Blog, Search Engine Land and etc. to keep yourself updated with latest SEO trends.
