Diabetes (diabetes mellitus) is a disease in which glucose (sugar) and starch (Fats) levels are too high in the human blood.Glucose and starch come from the food that we eat in our daily routine.The pancreas is a part of digestive system.It is between the stomach and spine. In size, Pancreas is about 7 inches long. It helps in producing Insulin. insulin is a hormone that makes our blood cells energized by glucose and also controls glucose level in our body, in diabetic condition insulin is not produced in our body because the pancreas doesn’t work properly.
The term diabetes was first known in 230 BCE by the Greek Apollonius of Memphis the disease was discussed at the time of Roman Empire. A Good Effective treatment was not discovered until the 20th century, when Canadians Frederick Banting and Charles Herbert Best isolated and purified insulin in 1921 and 1922. This was continued by the progressing of the long-acting insulin NPH in the 1940s.

1.IDDM (insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus):
IDDM is also known as juvenile diabetes or insulin-dependent diabetes. It is a chronic condition of the diabetic patient in which pancreas makes no insulin or very little. Different factors may be caused by this disease like genetics problems or some viruses etc.
2.NIDDM (non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus):
In this diabetic condition, By Insulin resistance cells becomes failed to help in making insulin. That’s the reason disease progresses due to lack of insulin .this is caused by insufficient exercise and having the heavyweight.
The third type occurs when a pregnant woman develops high-level sugar without a previous history of Diabetes. For an overweighted women.It is a risk factor for the pregnancy. It might be dangerous if weight not controlled.

If high blood sugar (Diabetes) remains untreated so it may be caused by various diseases such as heart attack, brain stroke, kidney failure, foot ulcer or weak eyesight.
When In a human body pancreas doesn’t produce the sufficient insulin or cells are not helping properly for the body to make insulin

In the beginning when a person comes to know that he has been a diabetic patient and his sugar level is too high. In that case, first he should consult with diabetic specialist .only a diabetic specialist can advice how much insulin should be taken to the patient. For prevention and treatment of blood sugar level, we can control our diabetes by a healthy diet, regularly exercising, normal weight, avoiding the use of tobacco, Alcohol, and intoxicant. A diabetic patient must take his medicine at the time with punctuality. Control of blood pressure is also an important factor for making diabetes better. For a diabetic patient, most of the calories can be burned by daily walking before taking breakfast.
